Looking out the Window: Award-winning Author Linore Burkard Talks about her New Book, Forever Lovely. On pre-order for only $2.99

A Warm Welcome to Linore Burkard Get a special price of $2.99 on Forever Lovely while it's on pre-order! See below. Hi Linore, Tell us about your latest book. Forever Lovely is book two in a time travel romance series (Forever in Time Series) but it can be read as a stand-alone. It takes place three years after the first book, but rather than focus on the same characters, it takes the younger sister of one and gives her a coming-of-age sweet love story of her own. Familiar characters from book one are in it, but the spotlight is on Miss Margaret, the sister of Clarissa Andrews, and so it’s really quite a different sort of fun. And I emphasize the word ‘fun.’ While there are realistic themes of love, loyalty, family, and growth, there’s also comedy. (You can’t take a young lady out of Regency England and bring her to modern-day New York without some good laughs!)     What inspired you to write this particular book? I had originally planned to do a second book and told my readers

Looking out the Window: Historian, Genealogist and Author Linda Weaver Clarke Talks About Her New Historical Series, Women of Courage, Based on True Experiences of Real Women

A Warm Welcome to Linda Weaver Clarke Linda introduces us to three stories about real  Women of Courage of their era created from her ancestors' true experiences.  Are Courageous Women in Stories More Interesting? Courageous women in stories seem to draw readers’ attention and grab their interest. The bravery and strength of character easily draws them into the story. It takes courage to stick up for one’s rights and defend one’s beliefs. During the 1840s, there were many brave women who fought against injustice and inequality. Many wanted to have a better education. These women made a difference and influenced others to make a better life for themselves.  A fairly new historical romance series was released that has received outstanding reviews on Amazon and Audible Audiobooks. It is called Women of Courage . In these novellas, the spunk and courage of these women seem to draw the readers into a world of adventure.  About The Light at the end of the Tunnel In The Light at the end

The Day God Sent a Road I needed to get to the doctor. We were young and had no fear of icy roads. After several years of hoping for a child, the doctor confirmed I was expecting. My husband and I moved through the next few weeks in a sort of daze, not sure if we could believe our dreams were finally coming true. Then problems developed, and we feared I was losing the baby. The doctor was a specialist in a larger city about seventy-five miles away, but when I called with my concerns, he asked me to come to his office. Determined to do whatever it took to save our child, we started out although snow and ice covered the ground and dotted the roads. Clouds an

Some might think a person who would flee a bad situation must be weak or cowardly. As any abused person will tell you, that is not true. It’s usually easier, and sometimes safer, for somebody in a dangerous or abusive situation to stay where they are. And even if the problem isn’t abuse, a raw deal must be huge to make a person leave. And in the case of my hero, not only to leave, but to disappear off the face of the earth, reappearing hundreds of miles away in 1879 Colorado, under a new name. With few official records and no picture id
