Thank you, Gail, for inviting me to be part of your blog family.  It’s my pleasure to have you. First, tell us a little about yourself.  I’m a fairly new widow and getting used to the idea. The Lord has been so there for me through the last year and a half. I live near Orlando and nearer still to Disney. I go to its parks to walk a couple times a week. I write mainly in the historical romance and romantic suspense genres. My favorite part of writing is the research—I love travel and visiting the places in my books to make sure my facts are authentic. However, I had to cancel the trip to LA to research A Friend in High Places. Stupid Covid. I live with my  son and dog, Lily, who is the best sleeper in the world. She’s got it down to a science.  So sorry for your loss and the covid. Lots of writers were avid readers as children. How about you?

Thank you for having me! It's my pleasure to have you. Let's talk about your new book. What inspired you to write this particular story? Time Search is the third book in The Time Counselor Chronicles , and one of the things that inspired me to write it was a horrible case of cabin fever. I was extremely ill at the time, and I wrote it in the middle of a seven-year stretch of quarantine. The four walls of my house were closing in on me, and my only way of escape was through my imagination. I longed to travel, and since I couldn’t, I became an armchair traveler. I’d always wanted to visit Europe, so I read tra

Lots of writers loved reading as a child. How about you? If so, what did you read? I LOVED reading when I was growing up! I simply couldn’t get enough books--my room was crammed with them. I walked the prairie with Laura, solved mysteries with Trixie, and I considered Anne (spelled with an e) to be one of my very best friends. I felt like life wasn’t worth living when Beth died, and I cried buckets when Old Yeller was shot. I explored a magic wardrobe and walked with my hands snuggled deep in Aslan’s soft, glossy mane. (H

First, tell us a little about yourself. I’m married with three children and live in Oklahoma City. I’m a CPA and work in healthcare but my real love is great stories. I don’t want to be mindlessly entertained; I want to be moved emotionally. I spend my weekends going to basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball games and love every minute. Lots of writers were young readers. What about you? If so, what did you read? I was an avid reader. I remember winning a most read books contest in 2nd grade and getting a free book. In sixth grade, my parents gave me a bunch of books for Christmas, and I remember being disappointed because I wanted toys. Ahh, sorry about the toys, but congratulations on the contest. Let's talk about your writing. Why do you write? I really enjoy telling a story and cre
