NOURISH THE BODY - The Apple Crisp                                                When I pondered what favorite recipe to share, I thought about the characters in my latest book, Bluebird of Brockport , A Novel of the Erie Canal, and asked myself what they might have been able to create on an Erie Canal boat in 1830.
