We brought the dogs with us, but since they are both runners, they had to be contained. It was too hot to leave them in the truck while we worked, so we set up a dog run between two trees. Each of them had their own lead, so they could freely run about eighty feet, in the shade of the trees, or out in the sun to bask if they preferred. They often played together, so there was also the ability for them to be together or move apart. Thanks for having me here, Gail. Always fun to visit! I grew up in a family of teachers and readers, so it was a big shock to learn that not everyone liked school or…gasp…books. How can that be? Although I’ve always been an avid reader, writing never occurred to me until I started working with our local historical society to put together an anniversary book. A friend taught me about press releases, and I wrote some articles for the newspaper. Then I took an online course from the Christian Writers Guild and started selling articles before I finished.
