Looking out the Window: Erin Stevenson Quint Talks about Her Latest Book, Dr. Mallory and the Undercover Dog-Dad. Free Story.

A Warm Welcome to Erin Stevenson Quint To receive a free story email Erin a Erin@ESQwrites.com for the free story. Hi Erin, first tell us a little about yourself. I’m Erin, and I’ve been writing faith-based fiction for about a decade. I indie published my first three-book series in 2018 and am up to 11 books now (I pulled two of them that were never edited properly and am preparing them for re-release). I am dedicated to writing stories of love and faith that support God’s ideal plan for marriage and family.  Tell us about your latest book. I first wrote this as a short story and intended to use it as a reader magnet. Then I expanded it and added a much heavier faith element. It’s about a Arizona police officer who is on leave while healing from a serious on-the-job injury. He accepts an invitation from an old Army buddy, now a sheriff, to come to Tennessee and help out on a case involving multiple unsolved burglaries. While there, he meets his buddy’s cousin, a beautiful, int...

A Warm Welcome to Carol Wilson James About Carol's New Book,  Always and Only  Caleb Daniels returns home to Texas after his wife has an affair and asks him for a divorce. To enter to win leave a comment and an email address below.  Hi Carol, first, tell us a little about yourself. Gail, thanks so much for letting me visit your blog. It's my pleasure to have you. I am a wife to one, a mother to two, a grandmother to five, and a doggie-mama to one (Zoe, a Jack Russell terrier––who sometimes seems like a dozen.) I love reading, writing, walking, M&M’s (plain), and soccer (both MLS and Premier League). I enjoy all kinds of music, but especially worship music and hymns. In fact, each of my novels is based upon a song as well as a Bible verse. I play worship music as I write. I find it brings me inspiration and encouragement. Recently, I allowed Zoe to establish Instagram and Facebook pages with two of her dog friends, Sandy and Brody. Follow them at 3 Dogs and Their Authors to discover the behind the scenes info about being a writer’s dog Why do you writ...

Hello, Gail. Zoe, Brody, and Sandy here from 3 Dogs and Their Authors. Every time we go to the park, friends always ask what it’s like to be an author’s dog. So, here’s the scoop on our lives as the inaugural members of PAW (Puppies Assigned to Writers). Want to know more? Follow us on  Instagram  And thanks for letting us visit your blog. SANDY: My author is Suzy Parish, and she smells of coconuts, which I think is exceptionally yummy and makes me hungry. She's fun to play with until she sits at her desk. BRODY:  My author is Kathleen Neely. What I like best about her is that she feeds me. Sometimes she slips me something that isn’t part of my regular diet, like the crust on her pizza. I love that she gives me the best part.  ZOE:  My author is Carol James. The thing she enjoys most (besides walking with me) are rectangles. She calls them computers, books, e-readers, or TV. She spends a lot of our at-home time staring at them. I often sit beside her becaus...

Please let me begin by thanking you for having me here. I appreciate the opportunity to share with your readers. It's my pleasure to have you. Tell us a little about yourself. I am the wife of one, the mother of two, and the grandmother of five. Retired, I enjoy spending time with my husband and Zoe, our Jack Russell “Terrorist.” I have a BA in English/Education and have taught children from kindergarten to high school age. My last job was in the international sales department of a medical device manufacturer. Were you an avid reader as a child? If so, what did you read? Oh, yes! I read everything I could find. I particularly enjoyed mysteries and tales of adventure. We lived in England during part of my childhood and got hooked on the Fantastic Five series. Two of my other favorites were Heidi and Robinson Crusoe....

Without repeating my bio… my name is Ginger. I live in northern Alabama with my husband and six of our seven children—the oldest moved out a few months ago. I homeschool the youngest four, but in a few short weeks that will change as the oldest of them will graduate high school. I love reading, coloring (even before it was “in vogue”), reading, writing, reading, needlework (cross-stitch, crochet, and knitting), and reading (but I think I mentioned that one already). I am also a “gaming” mom, much to my son’s enjoyment. Many of their friends are jealous. LOL I see you love to read. Were you an avid reader as a child? If so, what did you read? Absolutely. There were many of a night that I would stay up until one or two in the morning reading, and then get up at six to go to school. I c...
