Looking in the Window: Happy New Year!

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Number 6: 24- 26) A new year isn’t only about resolutions. We often wrap our wishes, hopes, dreams and goals around a new year. May 2026, bring good into our lives as we seek God’s will and find encouragement to make the most of our days to find peace and happiness in a world that’s often troubled and unkind. In 2025, for me, one of the year’s happiest moments occurred when I wrapped up my Discipleship Series. All three books are out now. What Readers Are Saying about the Discipleship Series   From a Top Author Review about Hidden Danger, the first book the Discipleship Series: It’s a feel-good book that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you with a smile. Looking out the Window: Wishing You Christmas Blessings. All Three Books in the Discipleship Series Available Now, Hidden Danger; Dangerous Detour (Set During Christmas) and Dangerous Shadows

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…” Isaiah 9: 6  Merry Christmas! The story behind  Discipleship Series  has its roots in the Christmas story. Because God loves us so much, He wanted us with Him, but He’s one-hundred percent good and can’t mix with sin. To separate us from the evil which entered our world when Adam and Eve sinned, he sent us a Savior, Jesus, who was born human in form, but with the spirit of God. As the only perfect person to live on earth, Jesus can stand before God. He suffered and died for our sins so someday we too can stand before God if we accept Jesus as our Savior.  After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to the apostles when they were eating. In Mark 16: 15- 16, “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.’” Over the past few years, I’ve heard how important disciples for Christ ar...

Recently I set two books in a Discipleship Series in Western North Carolina. The characters in Hidden Danger and Dangerous Detour tell their stories in the winter when cold air whips around the hills.
