Looking Out The Window: Celebrating Christmas With Meow Mistletoe, Lisa Lickel's Cozy Mystery Novelette

A Warm Welcome to Lisa Lickel Lisa will give away an eBook of Love Is...Everything About You . Read about the lighthearted romance below. To enter to win leave a comment and an email address below. Hi Lisa, tell us about your new Christmas book. Meow Mistletoe was an accidental story my editor suggested when we learned that a different holiday story I had begun would end up out of order in the series due to the publication schedule. It’s the first time I ever wrote a book based on the title. I’m glad it was always supposed to be novella size, meaning about a quarter the length of a full-size novel, so the amount of time researching and writing was doable in the timeline I had. The story takes place in one evening and introduces the characters who become the amateur sleuths of the Fancy Cat series . Looking Out The Window: Donna Schlachter Talks About The Mail Order Brides Collection And Her Story In It, A Train Ride To Heartbreak. Gives Away A Copy.

A Warm Welcome to Donna Schlachter Donna will give away a print copy  of  The Mail Order Brides Collection  (U.S. Residents Only). To enter to win join the Rafflecopter giveaway below. If so, this was perfect fodder for a romance, much like the old TV show, “The Love Boat”. And then I saw “Murder on the Orient Express”, and as a lover of anything Agatha Christie, decided t...

Looking Out the Window: K. Dawn Byrd Talks about Amazing Love, the modern-day version of the Hosea and Gomer Story from the Bible. She Hopes It Will Show God's Unconditional Love

K. Dawn will give away a gift card for a free download of Amazing Love. Welcome, K. Dawn. What would you like readers to take away from your book? Amazing Love is the modern-day version of the Hosea and Gomer story from the Bible. I'd like for readers to take away that God loves us with an unconditional love. My heroine, Dee, does some pretty terrible things and believes that God could never forgive her, but He does. Why did you choose to write this book? A couple of years ago, I was reading the story of Hosea and Gomer in the Bible and the thought came to mind that it would be fun to retell the story in a modern setting. What did you learn while writing this book? I learned that even though the Bible gives us stories about individuals who lived in Bible times, it's vague at times about specifics. This gives a fiction writer a lot of leeway to let their imagination run wild. What is the toughest test you've faced as a writer? Finding time to write. I w...
