A Warm Welcome to Keon Lindsey Keon shares his Biblically based reasons for believing in Jesus. Why I believe in Jesus I’m not a blind faith type of person. Thankfully, God does not require that and has provided lots of evidence and reasons to believe. These things got my attention and led me to decide to believe in Jesus. What were they? Exposure to God’s Word – My mother took me to church and listened to Christian radio where I heard Bible teaching. As a boy, sometimes I paid attention and sometimes not. However, I distinctly remember becoming interested in the Bible after hearing about fulfilled prophecy that was documented in history. I liked history and realized God was involved with it. Creation – I’ve always been interested in science and the world around us. In high school I learned about evolution and wondered how it could have happened if the Bible said “God created”?
