Looking out the Window: Wishing You Christmas Blessings. All Three Books in the Discipleship Series Available Now, Hidden Danger; Dangerous Detour (Set During Christmas) and Dangerous Shadows

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…” Isaiah 9: 6

Merry Christmas!

The story behind Discipleship Series has its roots in the Christmas story. Because God loves us so much, He wanted us with Him, but He’s one-hundred percent good and can’t mix with sin. To separate us from the evil which entered our world when Adam and Eve sinned, he sent us a Savior, Jesus, who was born human in form, but with the spirit of God. As the only perfect person to live on earth, Jesus can stand before God. He suffered and died for our sins so someday we too can stand before God if we accept Jesus as our Savior.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to the apostles when they were eating. In Mark 16: 15- 16, “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.’”

Over the past few years, I’ve heard how important disciples for Christ are these days. I had read the above verse many times from an early age, but lately it echoed all around me and stuck in my mind. I pondered in what way I, or anyone untrained as a minister could spread the Gospel. Then a man told me he was humming a hymn in a store and a stranger asked him about the tune. That led the stranger to ask the man about Christ. We never know what little thing might get someone’s interest.

When a subject rattles around in my head and won’t let go, I usually end up writing about it. Sometimes it’s a blog or an article, but this time the noise that wouldn’t stop in my mind ended up as a Christian Romantic Suspense Discipleship Series. Dangerous Shadows is Book 3. The other two are Hidden Danger, Book 1; and Dangerous Detour, Book 2. (In Dangerous Detour Moose and Ruthie must escape a stalker shooting at them in the NC Mountains to get home for Christmas.)

They are all stand alone books, but it's more fun to read all three.
