Looking in the Window: Ouch! A Broken Arm. Encouragement

I've missed connecting with my blogging friends. Its been too long, but typing is difficult with a broken arm. Six weeks into the journey, I'm improving. With prayers and therapy, soon I'll be doing as the video says. Because of the break. Becasue my son-in-law knows I like Elvis, he sent the following.

Interesting facts about the break:  My ambulance driver was a former NASCAR driver. I was in qualified hands.

A week later as I waited to check out from the doctor's office, I and everyone else had to evacuate the building due to a fire. It was apparently a small one and contained quickly, even though quite a crowd formed outdoors. The next day the receptionist on duty didn't know there had been a fire, and  all was well.

While I'm editing my next book with one finger, check out the Christian Suspense Discipleship Series Books. Each one can be a stand-alone, even though it's more fun to read all three.

About Hidden Danger, Christian Romantic Suspense

Discipleship Series Book 1

Top Author Certificate Winner

The Top Author Reviewer said, "When I started Hidden Danger by Gail Pallotta, I could sense that it was going to be a suspenseful ride, and it did not disappoint. This book, the first in the Discipleship Series, is a mix of Christian values, romance, and a good old-fashioned mystery that kept me hooked to the book. The author Gail Pallotta doesn’t just tell a story; she crafts an experience that pulls you in with its twists and turns, relatable characters, and thought-provoking themes of faith and redemption. It’s the kind of book that hooks you from the start and refuses to let go until the very last page."

About Dangerous Detour, Discipleship Series Book 2

From a five-star review: "This book pulled me right in and kept me turning the pages. The mix of suspense, survival, and just a touch of romance made it a really fun read. I felt like I was right there in the storm with Ruthie and Moose, trying to figure out what would happen next. The scenes were so clear, I could picture the snow, the forest, and even feel the cold.

I really liked the characters too. Ruthie came across as down-to-earth and easy to relate to, while Moose was tough but also caring. Watching them depend on each other and grow closer while facing such scary situations made the story even better. The faith element and theme of forgiveness gave it heart without being heavy-handed.

By the end, I didn’t want to put it down. It had action, danger, and heartwarming moments all in one. If you enjoy suspense that isn’t too dark, with characters you can root for, you’ll really enjoy this one."

About Dangerous Shadows Discipleshiip Series Book 3

From a five-star review: If the idea of an elusive stalker, a baffling college-town mystery, and a rekindled first love intrigues you, Dangerous Shadows belongs on your nightstand.

Dangerous Shadows pulls you in from the opening scene and never really lets go, weaving danger, romance, and faith into a story that feels both tense and heartfelt. The suspense keeps tightening as secrets come to light, but there are also quiet moments where the characters wrestle honestly with fear, forgiveness, and what it means to trust God when everything is on the line.

Fans of the Discipleship series will enjoy seeing familiar faces return, yet this book still works well as a standalone if you are meeting these characters for the first time. The romance stays clean while still offering plenty of chemistry and emotional pull, and the spiritual thread feels natural, never preachy, as it grows right out of the characters’ journeys.
