A Warm Welcome to Denise Weimer Denise will give away an e-Book of A Harvest Heart . To enter to win leave an email address and a comment below. Hi Denise, tell us what inspired you to write A Harvest Heart.   A friend of my husband from college who also became a writer contacted me about joining The Georgia Peaches Series. This MAP (Multiple Author Project) features monthly contemporary Christian romance novellas set in Georgia. Since I’ve always been a Georgia peach and 95% of my stories are set in my home state, it seemed a perfect fit. I found that releasing independently published novellas between my traditional, full-length book releases is a good way to stay connected to my readers. Plus, I’m a sucker for seasonal romances. My first Georgia Peaches story, A Holiday Heart  is set in December, also in the North Georgia mountains.   What do you love about this book? And what do you hope readers will tell others about it?  I have a meme that sums it up.   As I’ll share next, I do w

Psalm 37:4 This verse has been “my verse” since I was a teen and was struggling with a disappointment that had so little to do with what I wanted, and so much to do with what God wanted FOR me. It was years later that I learned, and used as the foundation for my first book, Carolina Dream , that when we literally delight in the Lord, it’s not our “wishes” that we should focus on, but instead that His desires become our desires! Mom's Pecan Pie I struggled to choose between two different pie recipes, both of which I received from my mother – chocolate pie, or pecan pie? Today, since I’m highlighting book 2 in the Southern Breeze

If so, what did you read? I remember every night pulling out the bottom drawer of the wardrobe in Mom and Dad’s bedroom and picking out a Golden book for Mom to read to me. At an early age she introduced me to the local library, and we’d go every two weeks to pick out four books. I loved the smell of the books in that place. I even considered becoming a librarian.  When I was twelve, I read The Ivy Tree by the late British author, Mary Stewart. I was hooked! I read every one of her suspense romance novels. Or so I thought. About two years ago I discovered her last one, which I had never read, The Rose Cottage . Oh, the day that one came in the mail!
