Hi Nancy, tell us about Mind Games. Writing Mind Games is a dream come true. I’ve been interested in FBI profiling for years. I’ve read about it, studied it, and watched every TV special I could find on the subject. So when the chance finally came to write the book I’ve always wanted to write, I jumped at it. Thankfully, through the help of another writer, I was hooked up with a retired FBI profiler. I was so excited. Until I found out I had almost everything wrong. Yes, I had some understanding about profiling, but I knew nothing about the FBI and how it works.

Looking In The Window: I'm Chatting With My Writing Partner, Lisa Lickel, About Writing And Books. She'll Give Away An E-book Of Meander Scar

A Warm Welcome to Lisa Lickel Lisa will give away an e-Book of  Meander Scar. To enter to win leave a comment and an email address below.  I’ve had the privilege of writing with Lisa for the past six years. Not only do I benefit from her critiques, but I also enjoy reading her books. Centrifugal Force , one she's discussing today, held me spellbound with the intensity, mystery, family dynamics, and foreign intrigue Lisa put into it. When I finished a chapter, I tried to scroll down to read the one she hadn’t written yet, so it’s a page turner. Thank you, Gail. You’ve always been encouraging, and very good at forcing me to keep up with you, or withholding your own work from me when I fell behind you. I wasn’t sure I liked that at first, but I came to admire your technique in knowing me better than I knew myself. Since that first book we’ve worked on several together. Actually, it’s the other way around. You’re the one who keeps me on task. I have to stay ahead, so I ca

Contemporary Romance: The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck by Bethany Turner -- Becoming a Christian is the best and worst thing that has ever happened to Sarah Hollenbeck. Best because, well, that's obvious. Worst because, up to this point, she's made her very comfortable living as a well-known, bestselling author of steamy romance novels that would leave the members of her new church blushing. Now Sarah is trying to reconcile her past with the future she's chosen. She's still under contract with her publisher and on the hook with her enormous fan base for the kind of book she's not sure she can write anymore. She's beginning to think that the church might frown on her tithing on royalties from a "scandalous" book. And the fact that she's falling in love with her pastor doesn't make things any easier. A Warm Welcome to Anne Patrick Anne will give away a Kindle copy of Cold Blooded . To enter to win leave a comment and an email address below. Hi Anne, first, tell us a little about yourself. I've written over a dozen stories of Romance, Mayhem, and Faith.  When I'm not working on my next novel I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  Formerly a native of Oklahoma, I now reside in Kansas. Lots of writers loved to read as children. Did you? If so what did you read? Oh yes.  I've been a mystery lover since I was a kid.  Mostly Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys.  As I grew older, my mother introduced me to Phyllis A. Whitney's books.  One of my favorites was 'The Mystery of the Haunted Pool ' which won an Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America for Best Juvenile novel. Why do you write? I've always been a storyteller, even as a kid.  I'd dream up these wild adventures which a lot of times got me into trouble.  Finally, my mot
