I feel like those are my favorite realities. My daughter just got married this spring, and Iā€™ve really enjoyed watching her and her husband grow. I feel like Iā€™ve now got two kiddos to love on, and my heart is full! I write, serve in various capacities, drink way too much coffee (or perhaps I should say, heavily flavored almond milk seasoned with coffee), have a severe ice cream addiction, and love to read almost any genre that exists. To Nourish Our Sweet Tooth Fruit Cake   6 ounces butter 6 ounces sugar 8 ounces self-raising flour 2 eggs 4 tablespoons milk Cream butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Fold in the flour and milk. Pour into a lined tin Bake Gas 6/200C for 10 minutes, then Gas 3/160C for 1Ā½ hours. Use dried fruit of your choice. This was originally Nannaā€™s fruit cake recipe. She passed it onto Mum, who gave it to me and now my daughters make it as well. Weā€™d go visit Nanna and Grandad on a Saturday afternoon and sheā€™d always be baking.
