The powerful, miraculous Easter message tells us one day weāll be dead to this world, dead to sin, and alive wrapped in Godās glory. Jesus lived among the Jews and the gentiles showing us his Gospel of love, telling us how to live in peace and care for each other. The suffering He endured illustrates our imperfect world and His unconditional love for us. His resurrection proclaims Godās sovereignty.

āNow as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, āWe are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucifiedā¦āā
(Matthew 20: 17 -18)
His crucifixion shows us Godās unconditional love.
His resurrection proclaims thereās nothing, not even death, God canāt overcome.
āAfter the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
āThere was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
āThe angel said to the women, āDo not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risenā¦ā
(Matthew 28: 1-6)
